Lower Salaries for 2002 Grads

Starting salaries for 2002 graduates declined in most fields, with liberal arts majors hardest hit, reports the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) in their Fall 2002 Salary Survey.

Political Science Majors dropped 12.6% to $28,546, Psychology Majors dropped 10.7% to $26,738, and English Majors dropped 8.3% to $28,438.

NACE's Salary Survey compiles data from college and university career services offices nationwide.
